After years of searching, we found 14 folders with detailed plans for the Theatre, Library, and Caretakers Cottage. Douglas’ visit to the Bolton Library and Museums' archives was a journey into history, uncovering nearly 100-year-old hand-drawn plans, many unseen by Leith Theatre staff.

In an unexpected turn of events, I found myself in front of the camera thanks to an invite from Stripe Communications and Uniqlo’s People Campaign. Now, dressed head-to-toe in Uniqlo, I’m reflecting on the experience and applaud their commitment to celebrating community and creativity.

Leith Theatre’s collaboration with Strathclyde University’s Architecture and Design course has been an inspiring journey. As March comes to a close, we’re excited to see their innovative solutions and we’re proud to support this educational initiative.

This week has been no ordinary week for Leith Theatre: we are delighted to announce that Bob Last has been appointed as Chair of the Board!

It’s August and, for us, that means music, music, music! But before it completely swallows us up and we get over-excited about live music and real audiences inside this amazing auditorium, our chat has turned to our very own Live in Leith series.

And we are into July! When did that happen?! There is no doubt that the past 10 weeks have simply sailed by and, in tow, The Bidding Room shoots for series 5 and 6 at Leith Theatre.

After months of recce visits and venue introductions, where we spent many a morning touring an eclectic mix of magnificent people through all the wee nooks and crannies of the building, we can’t believe that they are finally here and this is actually happening!

We are seeking an outstanding Chair to lead the organisation into the future.
