There is a Light That Never Goes Out

Our doors may be shut but our post-box is not!

It’s being at the heart of a community that makes it so lovely to hear about all the different connections to the theatre that people have and it’s something we are currently missing as we squirrel away off-site.

Covid-19 has certainly made us think about how important it is to conserve our history. It seems suddenly easy to imagine how quickly those stories could be forgotten and lost forever.

We would love to hear your Leith Theatre anecdotes of incredible times in the past as we look to the future and hope and plan for what a wonderful place it will become again.

Maybe your memories are of community events, faded recollections of gigs gone by or reminiscences of the early days? We would love to hear them, or why not tell us what Leith Theatre means to you now?

Memories and stories become part of the theatre’s rich tapestry. Let’s gather those words, recollections and personal narratives to keep them safe for the future.

We want to hear from you!

Send us a postcard with your memories or thoughts – real or virtual!

Leith Theatre, 28-30 Ferry Rd, Edinburgh EH6 4AE

office@leiththeatretrust.org (please use ‘virtual postcard’ as the subject line)

Please pass this on to people you know who might have a story to share.

All memories may be used publicly – please include contact details and mark whether your name can be used.
