NO SLOWING DOWN! A THRILLING SEPTEMBER IN IMAGES!

While most folk were taking a break after August, Leith Theatre decided to double down on the fun!

SEPTEMBER SAW CINETOPIA BRING US 2 FANTASTIC CINEMA NIGHTS AS PART OF SCALARAMA AND THE MONTH FINISHED OFF WITH A BRILLIANT DOORS OPEN DAY!

FIRST UP WAS BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM.

Cinetopia teamed up with Reel Girl Film Club, Leith Theatre and Punjabi Junction for a screening of the British classic, Bend It Like Beckham, inspired by this year’s Women’s World Cup! This night celebrated women in film, sports and business.

The turn out was amazing and the food was even better!

NEXT WE HOSTED A PERFORMATIVE SCREENING OF THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW.

As Cinetopia described perfectly on Twittter, this was the ‘pinnacle’ of our Cinema Nights so far. What a hoot!

DOORS OPEN DAY FINISHED OFF THE MONTH.

Staff, Volunteers and Board Members welcomed 478 visitors into the building.

£545 was generously donated by visitors on the day!!! Thank you so very much!

Your donations will be added to our Fundraising Efforts to complete Phase 1 of refurbishments and allow full-time, year-round operations of Leith Theatre… Now that’s what I call opening doors!!
